An in-person event at Historic Blenheim House in Fairfax, VA

We raised $15,000 in on-line donations and another $500 plus at the in-person event. The event was a fabulous success and the weather cleared long enough to release the red-tailed hawk!

Thank you to our sponsors. Thank you to Secret Garden Birds & Bees for their fabulous owls. Thank you to Eric Auld for his music and Laura Jamroz for her face painting. Thank you to Belinda Burwell for her snowy owl and the release of the hawk. Thank you to our raffle prize donors; Elena Bailey, David Heiby, Dianne Peck and Carolyn Wilder.

And a very big thank you to all of our WRL volunteers who made this event such a success-thank you writers, gift card donors, social media writers and distributors, and the ones who helped set-up, check-in, serve, sell ducks and clean up!
