Her most dramatic journey occurred in 2019, when she totaled her car en route to a rehabber but still finished the transport with her daughter’s help. A former Army officer and corporate professional, the now-retired Sara spends her time reading, transporting animals to scenic locations like Dr. Belinda Burwell’s home, and practicing her knitting.
Wildlife Rescue League offers thanks to the dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to helping injured and orphaned wildlife. The spotlight will feature exceptional individuals whose diverse skills and unwavering commitment exemplify the spirit of WRL.
