Wildlife Rescue League is always looking for volunteers to assist in providing assistance to wildlife in need, and depends on licensed wildlife rehabilitators, transporters and helpline volunteers to achieve its mission. In addition, Wildlife Rescue League is always looking for new volunteers with a wide array of skills from graphic arts, publishing, event coordination, public outreach, data entry, photography, fundraising and administration.
2020 – New Volunteer Position Needed
Volunteer Board Member Needed for Non-profit Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization
Wildlife Rescue League is a 501 (c) 3 non profit Organization whose mission is to support the rehabilitation
This position is a working position, to be performed on a volunteer basis without compensation, and will be for a two year term. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for the wildlife around us.
Based in Northern Virginia, we are currently looking for a board member with prior experience in development, fundraising and capital campaigns, with the goal of significantly increasing our donor base, and establishing relationships with corporate sponsors and legislative bodies
Other Ways to Volunteer
Write, photograph, or draw for our newsletter, web site, brochure, mailouts, etc.
Work art shows and fairs and other community events.
Collect, store and/or donate supplies and equipment for rehabilitation
