Become a Volunteer
Volunteer with Wildlife Rescue League
The Wildlife Rescue League is always looking for volunteers who live in Northern Virginia (the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Manassas and Manassas Park, and the counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Fauquier) to help wildlife in need. WRL depends on licensed wildlife rehabilitators, transporters, and helpline volunteers to achieve its mission.
In addition, WRL is always looking for new volunteers with a wide array of skills from graphic arts, social media marketing, content creation, event coordination, public outreach, data entry, photography, fundraising and administration.
If you live elsewhere, and want to help wildlife, contact local animal shelters, humane societies, or the state game agency, or a local wildlife rehabilitator at National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association.
